About Me
I 'fell in love' with Instructional Design in 2020. At that time I was in a critical career turning point.
I had spent almost 2 years searching for a career in L&D that fits my personality traits and leverages my strengths.
By that time, I had worked in Training and Development for more than 6 years, but the theories of Instructional Design were quite new to me, so I had to learn them from scratch. I used MOOC courses, books, articles, and ID forums to speed up my learning. Sharing the lessons I have learned on this blog and on the Facebook page is also one way to make my learning more effective and fun.
Now it’s almost 2 years since the day I decided to become an Instructional Designer. It has been a challenging yet fulfilling journey. I feel so glad and grateful for the opportunity to learn and do the work that benefits myself and others. If you want to know more about my projects, please visit the Portfolio tab.
One day I stumbled upon a post about a career called “Instructional designer”.
The job title sounded so new yet so intriguing to me. I kept on reading and the more I read about it, the more excited I became. My gut feeling told me this was ‘the one’.
